SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Generally, we use simple present tense in three situation

NOMINAL SENTENCE (the predicate of sentence is not verb, but TO BE "is, am, are")
Here is the pattern::

e.g:

To make negative, we just add "not" after "is, am, are".
He is not a student
They are not very diligent
Tini is not beautiful
Budi and Doniare not handsome boys
To make interrogative, we place "is, am, are" in the beginning of sentence.
Is he a student ? Yes, he is
Are they very diligent ? No, they are not
Is Tini beautiful ? Yes, she is
Are Budi and Doni handsome boys ? Yes, they are
Notes:
In simple present tense, we use ADVERBS of FREQUENCY, namely: often, usually, seldom, sometimes, always, never, annually, weekly, every ..., once a month, twice a week, etc.
Adverbs of time can be placed in the beginning of sentence or in the end.
Simple present tense is also often used to express Future Action.
